Thomas does the cutest things…

Thomas did the cutest thing today. I had gone to the store to get some supplies and brought home a guilty pleasure for myself: a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pumpkin. I don’t usually eat sweets in front of him because then I have to share and I don’t want to. So, I got a few minutes when he was watching tv and stole away to the kitchen to eat my glob of yumminess. When I came back in, he started talking to me and so I talked back. Suddenly, he started sniffing the air. Then he came right up to my mouth and sniffed some more. Next thing I know, he runs off and comes back carrying a Snickers (which is obviously too much in his reach)! It was the funniest thing! He was so proud of himself.
Cute moment for the day. :)
So, we’re trying to get things done before we head down to San Diego. We put way too much off and are now suffering the consequences. We have a lot to do in a very short amount of time. But the time away will be worth it, I think. I just hope the kids are good for us.
